It has been particularly busy behind the scenes over here as I’m in the thick of two big (and exceptionally beautiful, if I do say so myself) design projects. But I’ve missed this little corner of the internet fiercely – it feels good to be back! There are so many lovely things that I’m excited to share in the not too distant future, but for now I wanted to talk about Thanksgiving decor.
I had this post prepped and prepared in my brain for weeks now, but didn’t get the chance to put it all together until now. We’re officially celebrating up here in Canada this weekend and the timing couldn’t be more perfect as I’m in need of some family time, in addition to a little extra r&r. This post is coming up a little late for my Canadian friends (I apologize!) but I know that many of you don’t celebrate for another few weeks, so I wanted to get it up all the same.
NOTE: more Thanksgiving decor here
My mom is hosting this year, and she always does an exceptional job, but I do find myself daydreaming about the ability to do the same for my extended family one day. I am such a sucker for all of the beautiful little details that go into preparing a feast of this nature, and thought I’d share a few things I’d include in a Thanksgiving feast of my own.
Here are some Thanksgiving decor pieces I’m loving. I’m particularly smitten with the fact that nothing feels *too* over the top thematic, yet they are equally special in their own rite. Most can be used daily, but I love the idea of investing in a few key elements (turkey gravy boat, anyone?), and bringing them out season after season.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone <3
